Gantry Crane

Crane Service, And Pre Planned Maintenance.

Servicing for your crane is more important than you think.

We also strongly recommend a preventative service for your crane, to make sure it is running smoothly and anything is caught before it becomes an issue. These are done every 3, 6 or 12 months depending on your use of the crane.

Service and ROTE’s are completed by a different engineer on different days, as per LEEA guidelines. We will work out a plan that works best for you and send you a reminder to book your next service in, before your next one is due.

Gantry Crane Repairs.

If any repairs are needed, we will let you know and send you a quote for the work. We aim to get your overhead crane back up and running as soon as possible in any breakdown situation.

Any minor repairs will be looked at, free of charge, during a service, and repaired immediately if possible as we know the importance of keeping our customers cranes and factories running.

We also offer a competitive breakdown / call out service. Please give us a call to book your overhead crane, A-frame, jib crane or hoist in today.

Crane upgrades.

If your crane, floor mounted pillar jib crane, or hoist requires upgrading, we can help with this too. Our engineers can refurbish, recondition or replace any off the following;

  • Electrical crane buzz bar systems, 415 volts.
  • Crane electrical control panels. Modern controls and inverter drives are often fitted.
  • Hoist motors. We often change these from single speed to 2 speed.
  • Old crane pendants for modern FLEX radio remote controls.
  • Dangerous jerky single speed long travel motors into 2 speed via an inverter.
  • Limit switches, slow down limits, or zoned areas. These can prevent cranes traveling into the end stops and damaging steelwork.
  • Gantry tracks, or long or cross travel end stops. Tracks over a period of time can become worn, especially if they have not been fitted to within the British Standard tolerances.
  • New crane wheels. Crane wheels can become worn, especially if the tracks are not aligned properly.

Pre planned overhead crane maintenance.

The pre-planned maintenance of your crane is of the upmost importance. This work helps to safeguard your staff, prevent downtime of your equipment and loss of production. Ironically the small initial outlay will actually save you money in the long term.

Please give us a call, email or fill out a contact form below and we will get straight back to you.
