Morris electric overhead crane for sale. We have recently taken into stock a Morris 10t SWL double girder crane electric overhead gantry crane. The crane is part of a cancelled order and has never been used, hence the full warranty. We originally planned to install, test service this crane in Dereham in Norfolk. More used cranes wanted.

We can supply the crane with free standing gantry supporting crane steelwork, therefore the complete turnkey package.

Hook to floor 2820mm. Assuming the hoist loses 750mm headroom.

Crane span 9400mm, but we can supply this with a wider crane beam.

Crane speeds; 2 speed all motions.

End carriage wheel centres 1800. Overall length 2200mm.

Crane beam depth 615mm.

Radio remote control. The crane can be supplied with a radio remote control or a pendant.

Free Standing Steelwork Details.

Floor to rail 3370mm, including 2870mm column heights. The rail size is UB 457x191x67kgs per meter c/w a 40×40 solid on top. Floor to crane beam, 3570mm, including 200mm for the end carriage depth. The end carriages are under the cranes main beam, giving extra height of lift, or HOL.

The systems consists of 4 x 6000mm pieces of rail per side, making 12000mm crane gantry runway length. We can extend or add to this, similarly we can shorten it. In total there are 6 crane columns of which 2 are portal columns ideal to reduce the cranes over turning moments or long travel surging.

Each crane base was grouted using non shrink crane grout into the concrete flooring to keep it perfectly level.
