AG Cranes of Redditch are proud sponsors or Alcester Walking Football over 50’s and over 60’s team. The social group is made up of men and women, literally from from 49 years to 82 years in age. Our women’s team of 35+ are entering the Birmingham league next season. Unusually all of our sessions are referred by a qualified referee.
We play regularly, up to 6 times a week Sundays 10am, Wednesday (am & pm), Thursday 6pm, and Friday evenings, additionally we have over 50’s and over 60’s league teams.

- We are seeking a goalkeeper, specifically between the ages of 50 and 59.

WALKING FOOTBALL NEWS UPDATE.
- September 2025 saw Alcester Over 60’s walking football team playing their first league game in the Worcestershire Over 60’s league. Duncan Morris scored both of their goals in a 2-1 win against Hartshill.
- Alcester’s golden boot winner from the 2024/25 season was Alan Griffiths with 11 goals. Coincidently he is too young to play for the O60’s currently so will not be making his league debut for the 60’s until November 2025 because of a late birthday and holidays. Mathew Bluck was second placed with 8 goals, all scored in the Oxfordshire league.
